On Friday Gianni's Dad and Mr Baldock were doing concrete mixing. Mr House touched it with his nail and half his nail ripped. They are making a garden. Also, the concrete is dangerous because it will stick to your finger. It's by the hall and has rocks around it. The concrete has a bit of dirt in it and a bit of grass too.

Jump Jam for Star Jam
This Friday is the Jump Jam for Star Jam.
Star Jam is an organisation the provides young people with disabilities to shine as a performer. It gives them opportunities they would never normally have.
To help them raise funds we will be Jump Jamming for Star Jam at 2:15 on Friday, on the courts if it is fine.
We ask that every child bring a gold coin donation, and they will, in return, receive a silicone wrist-band.
Brett Fairweather, founder of Jump Jam, will be attending the event, and we encourage parents and the community to join in.

Learner Catch Up Days
We would like to say congratulations to all the children and parents who were so willing to try a new form of interviews this week. We were so impressed with how competently the children were able to share their learning and in how supportive and positive the adults were in encouraging them.
We thought it was a relaxing and informative way to share our learning and sincerely hope that everyone found that as well. Thank you you all very much for the outstanding turnout and for embracing the change.
Many thanks from the Take Flight Team

R.A.K - Random Acts of Kindness
In Kiwican we are learning all about Random Acts of Kindness.
We are thinking about how all the little, nice things that we do for others make them feel good and in turn it makes us feel good too.
Ask you children what special surprise they might be planning for someone (with the support of Kiwican and their teachers)
