Wacky Hair Disco

Tonight was the Welcome Bay School Disco.
Take Flight and First Flight were really lucky and got to kick things off.
There was great dancing, lots of sugary treats and some of the craziest hair ever. Well done to everyone who won a prize and thank you to all the parents for making it possible for your children to attend.

Here are just a few of the neat hair styles on show:

KiwiCan - Pohutukawa

Yesterday we went to KiwiCan and Taliah cream pied Luke in the face. Taliah felt happy with it.
 - Hannah-Rose

Yesterday in KiwiCan Luke got cream pied by Taliah in the face. Luke is from KiwiCan. All the kids were counting down from five. Luke had a surprise. Taliah felt happy. Taliah is from Pohutukawa. All the kids laughed and laughed. Luke said "It's everywhere. Even up my nose. Even on my shirt".
- Lucas

Taliah felt happy. She shoved a cream pie in Luke in KiwiCan
- Loklyn

We got to cream pie Luke. Taliah felt happy. She was laughing and the class was laughing too. Luke did not want the cream pie. Luke is in KiwiCan. I was excited that Luke was going to get cream pie in the face on Wednesday. She stuffed it in Luke's face and Luke got some in his nose. Luke said it is everywhere.

Junior Jump Jam

Each week Take Flight and First Flight get together and have a Thursday afternoon Jump Jam session, led by the very capable Mr Silby.
This week had been really wet and wild so some of the senior children from Flight Deck asked if they could join us.

Today it was raining. It is grey and pouring down with rain. It will be raining down for a couple of days. It's like a thousand tears coming down from the sky.The sky looks like pumice. It is one cloud joined together.
